SEVEN THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOUR FIRST CONVERSATION — AND EVERY ONE AFTER IT.
Every conversation, you choose how it's kept. Save only keeps it in your chats — private, revisitable, but it doesn't touch your map. Save & map keeps it too, and pulls out what surfaced and adds it to your map as something to carry forward. Neither is right or wrong — some conversations are just for talking. Others are worth remembering.
Your map keeps this month's insights open, and quietly holds everything older as a small mark you can still tap and revisit — nothing is ever lost, it just gets out of the way. Every node can be dragged and arranged however feels right to you, and Settings gives you more control over the map — open or close everything at once, delete individual entries you'd rather let go of, or clear the whole map to start fresh.
Inner Mapping is designed for adults. If a child or young person is using it, we recommend an adult stays with them.
Inner Mapping was built because I needed it — and I didn't know I needed it until I started using AI to have honest conversations I'd usually hide away from. No judgement, no repercussions, just honest, structured, unopinionated guidance.
But nothing held onto what I learned. Nothing showed me the patterns over time.
So I built something that does.
Inner Mapping isn't therapy. It's for people who wouldn't go to therapy — who would otherwise sit with it alone and gradually get worse. But it's also for anyone curious about how their own mind works. It fills that space without excluding anyone. A place to be honest, build self-awareness, and understand the patterns that shape you.
Built by someone who has been there. Designed for people who get it.
As you talk, your reflections quietly form a personal map — patterns, triggers, beliefs, and strengths you've surfaced over time. Nothing is ever lost; it grows with you.
When you're ready, you can turn it into a Support Map — your own honest insights, reframed as reminders, exported as artwork you can print and keep somewhere you'll actually see it.
Using a larger screen, such as a laptop or tablet, makes it easier to arrange your nodes and see the whole artwork on one page. To move your map across: on your phone go to My Map → Save → Back up everything, send that file to the larger device, then open Inner Mapping in its browser and choose Save → Restore from a backup. Carry on your sessions on whichever device you'll use most.
Inner Mapping doesn't have the answers. It can't tell you where you are or what you need — only you can work that out, over time, through your own honesty. This isn't a diagnosis, a solution, or a substitute for professional support.
It's a reflection tool: a quiet space that helps you notice your own patterns, at your own pace. It won't be right for everyone, and that's okay — but feel free to come here to reflect on anything you need to offload.
Your map, conversations and notes are stored only on this device. When you send a message, the conversation is passed to the AI provider to generate a response. Messages are sent without your name, email or any account, so they aren't linked to you. If you use the microphone, your voice goes through your device's speech service to be turned into text, which may be processed by your device provider. Nothing is kept by Inner Mapping on any server.

Offload your thoughts. No structure. No judgement. Just type.
